Working Hard!

Tiffany, Faith, and I are working our little butts off over here to get everything together for our new fall line. We originally had until the 10th get it done but now we only have until the 7th. Our tv appearance has been changed to Saturday, August 7th now. It will still be at 9 am and it will also be on Fox 2 NOT channel 4 as previously stated--my bad! Anywho, we now have exactly 10 days to complete EVERYTHING! Ahhhhhhh! Yes, I am freaking out. Tiffany is done--as usual, Miss Speedy McSeamstress. And Faith...well, she's probably doing better than me. lol.
I think I underestimated how hard it was going to be to get all these pieces done in such little time with a 1 and 2 year old. (notice that I blame them and not my addiction to Facebook!)
Anyway, get ready for our new fall line AND our tv appearance in just 10 short days!

Haul?!?

Connie from Dandelions Consignment had a great advertising idea to promote our trunk show on August 14th. She suggested we create a "haul" video and post it on YouTube. What is a haul you ask? Well, apparently the cool thing to do these days are post videos on YouTube showing off the clothes you got during a shopping spree. Note that I only know this AFTER I looked it up on urban dictionary. lol. Also, you can watch an example of a haul if you click on the YouTube link above.
So tomorrow, the girls and I have a business meeting and will most likely be creating our first Haul Vlog. We'll be sure to post links. I think this will be a good warm-up for our LIVE runaway show that we're doing on tv on August 10. Eeek!

Wow.

That pretty much sums up our week. Wow. Our meeting with Dandelions Consignment went A-MAZ-ING! We are officially going to be selling our clothes in a real brick-and-mortar store. Woohoo. She even wants to have a big "grand opening" trunk show of our fall line as a kick-off! We are on Cloud 9 right now.
If all that isn't exciting enough Connie, the owner of Dandelions Consignment, asked us if we would be willing to do a segment promoting our business and the trunk show on LIVE tv. As in TELEVISION! Ummmmmmm....YES! So you can see us on August 10th at 9am LIVE on Channel 4 promoting our business. You can catch the grand opening trunk show on August 14th at 11am.

Busy week!

This week we are super busy! We actually have a meeting with a brick-and-mortar boutique to see if they are interested in selling our clothes and accessories. We have been trying to make a couple new items that we've been meaning to make for awhile now so we can take them with us. We are super excited to put them up on the website later this week. Here's a little sneak peak of one item I've made though...
